Morris Arboretum coordinated a PR shoot of babies born in July, 2009 to commemorate the upcoming one year anniversary of the Out on A Limb exhibit in July, 2010. While Eight Marketing as an agency was not involved, Fran was on the other side of the lens for this one with a future Eight Marketing employee.
The actual celebration will be held on July 3rd from 11 am - 1 p.m. Morris Arboretum guests will enjoy free birthday cake starting at 12:00 pm, while supplies last, and a visit from Judy Tudy, the "mommy clown" who will combine magic and storytelling into one enchanting show. These interactive presentations allow children to reach into their imaginations and explore.
The 450 foot long canopy walks lead you Out on a Limb and up into the tree tops, 50 feet above the ground. Visitors can experience the forest as a bird by entering a huge nest, complete with giant robin's eggs, or as a squirrel by scampering down onto the Squirrel Scramble's rope netting between towering trees.

| Marketing Book of the Month |

Twitter Power 2.0
Ever wish someone would give you 10 - 20 actionable, easy and free ways to get started on Twitter? These steps and more can be found in Twitter Power 2.0 by Joel Comm.
The book is an excellent primer for those new to Twitter and managers looking for a quick guide to social media resources, from setting up RSS feeds to twitterdecks and bit.ly codes and other URL shorteners.
While the book won't make you a social media "rock star," it will help you understand the power and limitations of the medium.
The book also includes links to free webinars but be forewarned that signing up for updates will bring a number of purchase offers to your email that will sound too good to resist, furthering demonstrating the skill of the writers and marketers.
To join the discussion, visit us on facebook.
Have a book you'd like to recommend as the next Marketing Book of the Month? We'd love to hear from you. Email Fran Walish or Alison Lambert with your suggestions.
