of PAEDCO, the Phoenixville Community Development
Corporation, the Phoenixville Area Business
Association, the Phoenixville Cultural Alliance, and the

When the Media is the Message
|
|
The Leno-O'Brien uproar at NBC brought press
coverage for late night that has not been seen since
the Letterman-Leno battle of the 90's.
Eight Marketing assisted Harmelin Media in
leveraging their research to capture national coverage
of its own, placing stories nation wide on Harmelin's
findings on the impact of Leno on news ratings and
revenue for local stations in the top 20
markets.
Harmelin Media's research team quantified and
localized the Leno move and its impact on local news
broadcasts that count on a strong lead in. The
resulting story, "22 Million Reasons to Cancel Leno,"
contained detailed analysis that the press found to be
both timely and pertinent to the controversy.
Eight Marketing succeeded in obtaining coverage in
The Wall Street Journal, The New York
Times, The
Washington Post, Forbes,
and the
Associated Press, resulting in more than 100
placements
across the country.

report, visit Harmelin Media at www.harmelin.com.
