Women Against MS Luncheon May 19
|
|
The annual Women Against MS (WAMS) luncheon will
held Wednesday, May 19, 11:30 - 1:30 at the Crystal
Team Room in The Wanamaker Building.
The featured speaker this year will be Rosemarie
Greco, in tribute to her sister, Phyllis Greco. The
luncheon is hosted by Kathy Orr of CBS3.
Thousands of women in the Greater Delaware Valley
know the challenges of multiple sclerosis all too well.
Whether they're living with MS or among the countless
more who love someone with the disease, they're all
part of the sisterhood with one goal: creating a world
free of MS. The Women Against MS Luncheon rallies
our community and solidifies our commitment to this
sisterhood and this vision.
For ticket information, call (800)548-4611, or send an
email to wams@pae.nmss.org.

Eight Marketing Launches Marketing Book of the Month
|
|
Eight Marketing has launched a Marketing Book of
the
Month Club. Each month, a new book will be
announced in News at Eight. Discussions on
the book will be held informally on the Eight Marketing facebook
page currently under development.
Our first book will be How We Decide, by
Jonah Lehrer, on the suggestion of Theresa
Stuhlman, preservation and development
administrator for Fairmount Park.
How We Decide explores the psychological
and neurological ways we make decisions. The book
is written in a clear, concise, style, drawing on real life
experiences of NFL quarterbacks, airline pilots and
even professional poker players.
By knowing where rationality ends and biology begins,
marketers
will gain insight into ways to impact decision
making.
If you have a book you'd like to recommend as the
Marketing Book of the Month, please email Fran
Feldman Walish.
